Laghouat University

Laghouat University is a University in Laghouat Laghouat Province, Algeria.

From 1986 to 2001, the University of Laghouat has progressed certainly related to the development of the city of Laghouat. Constituting the crossroads of major axis road between north and south, east and west, Laghouat was always called "Gate of the Desert".

It is located 400 km south of the capital. Again returned capital of Wilaya in 1974, it currently enjoys all the amenities of a modern city, which in addition to his secular vocation agropastoral has adequate potential energy and industry with the discovery and exploitation of the gas in Hassi R'mel, become a major attraction.Promoted university town in the program of decentralization to the wilaya, it has benefited from the creation of a training college in 1986.

Initially planned as a university center in the Five Year Plan (1980 - 1985), she had a recon Version center in normal school because of the revision of the university card in 1984.Thus were created successively Ecole Normale Superieure d'Enseignement Technique (ENSET) and the Institute of Engineering Mechanics (INGM), under Decree No. 165-86 of August 6, 1986.

Initially, the ENSET consisted of 314 student teachers supervised by 23 teachers permanent.This period was marked by the opening of new channels such as the common Exact Sciences, Technology and Computer Science in 1988, of Engineering in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering in 1990, of Engineering in electronics in 1995, the Bachelor of Science Economics in 1991 and BA in Arabic Language and Literature in 1994.It is also characterized by the development of education short cycle (level 5) awarded the university degree applied (DEUA) DEUA such as mechanical engineering and electrical engineering in 1988, the DEUA Civil Engineering 1989, DEUA computer management in 1990 and DEUA in industrial chemistry in 1996.

On May 10, 1997, the ENSET has been converted into a University Center in accordance with Decree No. 157-97 of May 10, 1997, comprising four (4) Institutes: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Economics.Other branches were opened in this case, the Industrial Chemicals (1997), Information Technology, Law, Management (1998), Biology (2000) and Psychology (2000).On the other hand, what characterizes this period is the opening of the first post-graduation in 1995 in the Materials sector. Options: Science and Engineering of surfaces and materials engineering.

Finally, the city of Laghouat has been given a comprehensive university since September 18, 2001 under Decree No. 270-01 of September 18, 2001, which at that date three (3) Faculties: Social Sciences and the Ingéniorat, Law and Social Sciences, Economics and Management Science.During this stage, there was the creation of three channels in long cycle: Architecture (2001) the core in Agronomy (2002), the core curriculum in Sociology and Demography (2004) and English (2004) and two chains in short cycle: Maintenance in Electrical Engineering (2002) and Hydraulics (2002).At the end of this long period of maturation appears Amar Telidji University of Laghouat, as a new entity, young and open to new challenges.The latter, within the framework of regional and local strategy, identified a proposed socio-economic revitalization of an entire region.

The University of Algiers Benyoucef Benkhedda is a university located in Algiers, Algeria. It was founded in 1909 and is organized into seven faculties.

History

The University of Algiers, the first Algerian university was established in 1909 (under the Law of 30 December, 1909). This creation, however was the result of a series of stages in academic activity, marked in particular by the Law of 1879 establishing four specialized schools: medicine, pharmacy, sciences, letters, and law.

During the colonial period, it experienced both quantitative and qualitative changes.

After independence, while pursuing its teaching mission, it also went through a number of changes involving its organization, structuring, and orientation in terms of pedagogy and research.

The University of Batna (French: Université de Batna, also named Université Colonel Hadj Lakhdar, Arabic: ????? ?????) is a public university in the city of Batna, Algeria. It was created in 1977 and has grown steadily since then; it is now one of the largest universities in North Africa. It presently has eight faculties and a total of over 31,000 students.

History

When the university was created, it started with two institutes, Law sciences and Arabic Literature and Language. It later gained several institutes including Exact sciences, Biological sciences, Medical sciences, Economic sciences, Foreign languages and Agronomy.

In 1985 the university was reorganized under a new administrative structure called INES (National Institutes of High Education), and in 1990, it was again replaced by many institutes, each of which contains many departments.

In 2001, it was reorganized to a set of faculties. Each faculty has several departments spread in nine sites around the city. The new and the most important site of the university, located in the southern area of the city of Batna, has four important faculties, the central library and many infrastructures.
