A sickening-looking injury to Brentford right back Henrik Dalsgaard marred Sheffield Wednesday's come-from-behind 2-1 win as Ross Wallace claimed the points for the Owls at a rain-sodden Hillsborough.

Nico Yennaris fired the Bees into an early lead, but Gary Hooper equalised in first-half stoppage time before Wallace smashed home the winner 20 minutes from time.

But Dalsgaard went down injured deep into added time and eventually left the pitch on a stretcher after receiving treatment on the pitch for over 10 minutes.

Elsewhere, Cameron Carter-Vickers earned his spurs on debut with Sheffield United's winner in their 1-0 Sky Bet Championship victory at bottom of the table Bolton.

The on-loan Tottenham youngster fired home after 33 minutes at the Macron Stadium as Chris Wilder's side completed a fourth successive league win.

Carter-Vickers' first senior goal also ended a run of 10 away defeats, dating back 40 years, at their Lancashire hosts.

Phil Parkinson's Trotters have now lost five of their seven games since earning the second automatic promotion place behind the Blades last season and have failed to score in three successive outings.

Bolton beat the Blades twice at the Macron Stadium last season but the visitors have adapted much better to life in the second tier.

Elsewhere, Norwich were frustrated by a rearguard action from a determined Burton side as a disappointing encounter at Carrow Road ended goalless.

The Canaries improved markedly after the break and created enough chances to have won the game comfortably, but the Brewers stood firm as they produced an excellent response to Saturday's 5-0 drubbing at Leeds.

For the hosts it was a fourth point from two home games, having beaten Birmingham 1-0 at the weekend, although they will be disappointed to have not collected the full allotment after dominating the game for long periods.
