Babachir Lawal, the suspended secretary to the government of federation, allegedly mocked President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerians before departing Aso Rock after his suspension.

In a Facebook post shared by Prof. Farooq Kperogi, Lawal made a facial mockery in his car before his final departure.

He had earlier mockingly asked reporters saying "Who is the presidency?" when he was asked about his suspension.

Kperogi said: "How did we end up with a man like this as Secretary to the Government of the Federation? The man clearly doesn't have his head screwed on right--literally. In this photo, Babachir David Lawal is sticking his tongue out in mockery of Nigerians who think anything will come out of his "suspension" and "investigation." He had earlier mockingly asked reporters "Who is the presidency?" Judgment day for this boor can't come soon enough! Let's wait and see."

NAIJ.com earlier reported that President Buhari suspended Babachir Lawal on Wednesday, April 19.

The president also set up a three-man committee made up of Abubakar Malami, the attorney-general of the federation; Babagana Monguno who is the national security adviser and vice president Professor Yemi Osinbajo to carry out a two weeks investigation on allegations of violations of law and due process made against the SGF in the award of contracts under the Presidential Initiative on the North East.
