Harry Kane has warned Scotland he wants a Hampden hat-trick as he turned his attention to rediscovering his scoring touch for England.

The in-form Tottenham striker, who has missed his country's last six games through injury, has not netted in any of his last six appearances for England. His last goal for the Three Lions came against Turkey on May 22 last year.

He is on the brink of defending his Premier League Golden Boot, though, after scoring four in Thursday's 6-1 win at Leicester.

Gareth Southgate's England face Scotland in Glasgow in a World Cup qualifier on June 10 before travelling to France for a friendly on June 13, and Kane is eyeing goals north of the border.

'That would be nice,' the 23-year-old said, when asked about a possible hat-trick against Scotland. 'I'm looking forward to putting on the Three Lions shirt and hopefully getting a couple of goals and winning those two games.

'It is going to be a lively game. Every England game is important. I have been injured for the past few camps so I am really looking forward to getting out there, hopefully putting on that Three Lions shirt and scoring.'

Kane moved two goals clear of Romelu Lukaku in the race to be this season's top scorer in the Premier League with his haul at the King Power Stadium.

He has 26 league goals, including eight in his last seven appearances, with Everton's Lukaku on 24 ahead of Sunday's final games of the campaign.

Runners-up Spurs go to Hull, with Kane having netted 75 Premier League goals, while Everton travel to Arsenal. Only 26 players in Premier League history have reached 100 goals, and Kane wants to join the club.

'I said to someone the other day it would be great if I can get to that 100 club by the end of next season,' he said.

'I am on 75 in the league and if there is another season like this then hopefully I can get to the 100. It would be a fantastic achievement.

'The biggest thing I'm proud of is that I had two big injuries and was out for 11 weeks so to still be there at the top of the Premier League and to score 30-plus goals (in all competitions) is a big achievement.'

Kane scored 25 goals last term to claim the Golden Boot as Tottenham finished third, having netted 21 times in 2014-15, and boss Mauricio Pochettino believes Scotland manager Gordon Strachan should be concerned about his forward.

The Argentinian said: 'Of course. I know I'm sure that he will be worried. You know in a different competition, with the national team, it is always different, but Harry is in very good form and we hope he keeps that same form for the next few games.'
