Breaking: JAMB releases date for 2018 for tertiary matriculation examination

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fixed March 9 to March 17, 2018 for the next Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in the country.

The Punch reports that the date was announced by the organisation’s registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, in the morning of Wednesday, November 15.

Oloyede made the announcement during an ongoing stakeholders’ meeting and said that the dates were chosen taking into cognizance the period of other public examinations.

The board also said the mock examination would hold between January 22 and 27.

The application fee, according to the board, remains N5000. earlier reported that JAMB banned the use of wrist watches and pens during the conduct of its 2018 test.

In a report by NAN, the board’s registrar, Ishaq Oloyede disclosed this to journalists on the sideline of a one-day sensitisation workshop for computer-based test centre owners on Wednesday in Lagos.

According to him, the essence of the workshop is to appraise the registration and conduct of the 2017 examination.
