An Mexican restaurant in Texas has earned the approval of tens of thousands of fans— but it's the food that's drawing attention.
El Arroyo, a Tex-Mex joint in Austin, has been enticing customers — and cracking up the internet — with its very clever signs.
Instead of advertising happy hour specials or new taco recipes, El Arroyo uses the sign to share daily jokes and puns.
Sometimes topical — like today's sign, which features a dig at Tiger Woods — and sometimes just observational, the signs have become locally famous and earn thousands of likes on Instagram.
In fact, it's such an institution that when a storm destroyed the 600-pound landmark in February, the restaurant scrambled to get a new one up to keep customers happy.
